Change of Plans

I guess we won't force you out into the cold, rain, mud and wind tonight. The ultimation of ultimate has been postponed to a later date. Instead we will be partaking in fun activities, such as designing commercials, at the church. We will still be heading to Dereks afterwards.

Blue Jays

If anyone remembers the poll that was up a while ago about the Blue Jays, it decided which game we are gonna go see. The game will be on Friday June 1st when the Chigago White Sox will be playing the beloved Blue Jays, our seats are where the arrow (that I made in paint) is pointing, they're pretty sweet for this price. The tickets will be sold on a first come first served basis, that being said there should be plenty for everyone to come, so invite your friends if you want. The tickets are $10.00 and that includes gas money for the drivers, you can bring the money with you on friday. What you will need to bring is enough money to buy supper for yourself i.e. street meat (meat products from street vendors)

The Ultimation of Ultimate

Rain, shine, mud, sun, warm, cold.....no matter what the weather, we will be experiencing the ultimation of ultimate frisbee! Seriously, if it's raining, wear waterproof clothes, if it's muddy, bring a change of clothes, if it's sunny, all the better.

We will be meeting at church at 7:30, and then to Derek Mustes afterwards. He lives at 1214 Concession 2. Please have your rides pick you up from here at 11:00.

Über Scavenger Hunt

I know what you're all thinking...what could possibly follow up the golden putter ceremony. Well that would be an Über Phonebooth Scavenger Hunt!

We are starting out from the chruch at 7:30 and we will end up back at the church and hang out there for the evening so arrange rides for 11:00. We also have special guests this week the jr. youth are coming out so its gonna be a good time.

The hunt will be taking place in old town NOTL and the weather should be good but dress accordingly if that changes on the day.

Mini Putt Add On

We'll be going to B-Loe's house after the mini putting at the church he lives at 1411 Concession 6 here in Virgil. Its between line 2 and Hwy 55 as usual please arrange rides to be picked up from there at 11:00.

Mini Putting - CY Style

Grab your putters and come on out to youth this week! As the polls suggest, this should probably be an olympic event; at the least, it promises to be a good one. We will be meeting at the church at 7:30, as per our usual routine. Come dressed in your best "Tiger Woods" paraphernalia!

Stay tuned to what's happening after the mini putting goes down. We will either be at the church or Brian Loewens. We'll let you know soon!

Thanks to everyone who helped out with the Easter Eggstravaganza on Friday and Saturday. You all did a great job! We had 91 kids come out. We couldn't have done it without you!

Eggstravaganza

Its gonna be a busy weekend everyone...here goes...

This good friday April 6 we will be meeting at the church at 7:30 and setting up for the annual Easter Egg Hunt, preping for all the stuff that needs to be done for the following saturday (April 7) when a large number of kids from the community will be hunting for the chocolate eggs that the bunny has randomly scattered around Virgil Public School. We will be staying at the church so arrange rides to pick you up at 11:00.

Speaking of saturday we will need as many youth to help as possible to see the event runs smoothly. The event starts at 10:00am and if your in the mood for breakfast we're meeting at 7:30am at Silks for breakfast, but if you want an extra half an hour of sleep just meet at the church at 8:00-8:15 to help us put the finishing touches together.

Easter Sunday, there is a sunrise service that we are hosting at the Gazebo in old town NOTL at 6:30am, many of the other youths in St. Catharines have been invited so there is the possibility of a large number of people, don't miss out.

After the sunrise service there is a paska breakfast at Cornerstone which will then be followed by the service at 10:45.
